Located, at 434 W. Ontario Street in Chicago’s River North Gallery District, the Alfedena Gallery is a new standard for commercial galleries serving the most discriminating collectors of contemporary art. With its expansive exhibition space of over 3,500 square feet creating distinct galleries on three levels, Alfedena Gallery’s elegant minimalist environment is designed to mount major exhibitions by a stable of nineteen significant contemporary artists whose work is featured in numerous public and private collections. Exhibitions average six weeks in length and feature paintings, drawings, sculptures, kinetic works, videos, and site-specific installations.

Complementing the gallery’s ambitious exhibition programming is a series of special corporate and collectors events that are a new model for developing arts patronage by fusing the best of the visual and culinary arts. Innovative guest chefs use the gallery’s private kitchen to design menus that specifically respond to the art works in each exhibition, while discussions by the gallery director, artists, art critics and scholars enrich the dialogue with supporters of contemporary art.

The gallery’s director, John Brunetti, is an established Chicago arts professional with over sixteen years experience as a curator, art critic and arts educator. For more information on Alfedena Gallery and its programs, contact us at info@alfedenagallery.com
